The author dedicates the collection to Donna Virginia Pallavicini Gambara, who had married Brunoro Gambara, Veronica's brother, in 1529.   2 works in one volume, 8vo (148 x 91mm). Printer's device on title, woodcut initials (some light browning). 19th-century red calf, title on label and gilt and black decorations on spine, gilt and blindstamped decorations on covers, marbled endpapers (faded title). It was not possible to find collation; our copy is collated as follows: *8, A-O8, P-Q4 (first volume); a-c8, [pi symbol]6 (second volume).
