Allegorical frontispieces engraved by Giovanni Lorenzo Guidotti after Domenico Piola and Carlo Giuseppe Ratti, allegorical engraved vignettes on title, engraved headpiece with the arms of the dedicatee, engraved and woodcut initials, 68 engraved portraits, 41 in the first volume and 17 in the second, woodcut tailpieces (first leaves of the first volume reinforced at corners, second volume with early provenance probably removed from title and with a small stain in the outer margin of the final leaves, in general some soiling and staining).
