Valencia: Patrimonio Ediciones, 2002.   Reproduction of the luxurious decorated manuscript containing the treatise on arithmetic and geometry by Filippo Calandri. It was commissioned by Lorenzo de' Medici in 1491 to educate his son Giovanni, the future Pope Leo X, in the banking arts and arithmetic. The calculation tables are decorated with gilt, bright Medici coats of arms and ornamental motifs.   (170 x 120mm). Copy no. 427 of 999. Detailed colour reproduction of the original codex. Blue velvet binding with metal studs with the Medici coat of arms, a metal clasp for closure. Without commentary volume.
