[MARCO POLO] - La Bibbia di Marco Polo. Ms. Pluteo 3 capsula 1. Rome: Treccani, 2012.   The code, kept in the Medicea Laurenziana Library in Florence, was discovered by the missionary Philippe Couplet (1623–1693) in the house of a noble landowner in Cham Xo, who claimed it had belonged to his family for 400 years. The volume would then be the only Western code brought to the East that has survived, although there is no evidence that it belonged to Marco Polo.   (162 x 107mm). Copy No. 238 of 350. Detailed colour reproduction of the original code. Editorial binding with blindstamped decorations and metal and stone applications on the cover. Enclosed in a red lacquered plastic case. With commentary volume. (2)
