Printer's device at the end of each part, incipit of the text in the first part printed in red, each prologue with a beautiful large-format woodcut initial in black, other woodcut initials, with final blank (some staining or foxing). Contemporary leather over wooden boards with metal clasps, manuscript title on spine and other contemporary annotations (worn). Provenance: contemporary annotations on title, some previously erased, others in text.
