A fundamental history of Milan which focuses of the Ambrosian Basilica from its foundation.   4to (252 x 180mm). Woodcut vignette on title, woodcut headpieces and initials, two engraved plates, one of which depicts Sant'Ambrogio and one typographical, 8 full-page engravings (without h6 in the preliminaries, probably blank and not present in the only digital copy available online, tiny wormtrack to lower margin of title, some foxing and minimal staining, N4 slightly shorter at lower margin, but with stains corresponding to the other leaves, the previous N3 and following O1 on guard). Contemporary vellum, manuscript title at lower edge, marbled red edges (some wear, heavier on spine).
