DONI, Antonio Francesco (1513-1574) - Foglie della zucca. [LEGATO CON:] - Frutti della zucca. Venice: Francesco Marcolini, 1552.   First editions of these two works that augmented the Zucca, printed for the first time in 1551 and accompanied by curious woodcuts. Le Foglie is unfortunately not complete.   2 works (of 4?) in one volume, 8vo (158 x 100mm). Two woodcut titles, another 6 titles within woodcut border before the various parts of the works, printer's device at colophons, portrait of Petrarch at A1V of Frutti, many woodcut illustrations, some full-page as the portrait of Doni, woodcut initials (lacking gathering a⁸ of Foglie, gathering 2a⁸ of Foglie replaced with gathering 2A⁸ of Fiori, the title still being that of the Foglie but cropped, without final blank of Frutti, small restoration on the lower corner of first gatherings, tear reassembled at C2 touching woodcut, a few cropped pages, browning, some foxing).
