A postincunabula edition not easy to find on the market containing the commentary on Aristotle by the 14th-century philosopher and Dominican Graziadio da Ascoli, known above all for his Quaestiones on Aristotelian texts. Folio (294 x 206mm). Woodcut vignette, woodcut initials, gothic text, printer's device at colophon (marginal restorations on title's verso, occasional small non-invasive marginal wormtracks, small wormhole touching text at final leaves, some marginal waterstains, light browning). 18th-century half vellum over decorated paper, manuscript title on spine, speckled edges (light rubbing). Provenance: contemporary ownership inscription deleted on title - a few contemporary annotations.
