Pulex & Philomela, quamuis Ouidij esse dicantur, non magis tamen ipsius sunt, quam Sabini tres illae, quae illi ascribuntur, epistolae"".   8vo (153 x 95mm). Aldine device on title and at end (final leaf slightly shorter and darker, probably from another copy). 18th-century marbled calf, gilt decorated spine, red label titled in gilt and red edges (modern guards, minor wear). Since the work is an extract from a larger text by Ovid, it is sold as not subject to return; the collation is as follows: 10 index pages, a-z⁸ A-B⁸ C⁴.
