This is the famous dialogue written by Piccolomini under the pseudonym "Stordito Intronato". In the opera, the elderly Raffaella educates the young Margherita, as well as in the feminine arts of make-up and clothing, in the ars amandi and in how to find and maintain a satisfactory extramarital relationship.   8vo (150 x 100mm). Woodcut initial (browning, small marginal restoration at leaf C8). 20th-century half calf on marbled paper, gilt decorations and title on spine (very light rubbing).
