The treatise, composed by the archaeologist and collector Ridolfino Venuti, presents itself as a study on the territory crossed by the river and on the sanctuary of the river god.   4to (245 x 185mm). Half-title, title in red and black with engraved vignette, engraved headpieces and initials, 5 (of 6) engraved plates (paperflaw touching plate II, light foxing). Contemporary vellum with speckled spine, gilt title on spine label, marbled endpapers (light wear). Provenance: Marquise.. (private armorial bookplate, name erased).
