London: Bunny & Gold, [1801-02]-1813.   First edition of this fascinating hunting work complete with splendid plates and the supplement volume. The treaty covers all aspects of hunting, including shooting and fishing, focusing in particular on the game itself and the animals used to capture it, including ferrets and many dog breeds.   3 volumes, 4to (270 x 4mm). Each volume with an engraved title, 63 engraved plates in the first two volumes, an author's portrait and 4 engraved plates in the supplement volume (occasional foxing and very light browning). Contemporary marbled calf, double fillet and gilt frame on covers, gilt decorations and title on spines, blindstamped and marbled edges, marbled endpapers (general light rubbing, some wear to joints, covers of the second volume detached).
